FILENAME: Transmitter_2.50.pk3

REVISION: 2.50

RELEASE DATE: September 17, 2007

AUTHOR: Craig, TomTom, and the bindlestiff

DESCRIPTION: Waypoint files for the ET map Transmitter

REQUIRES: FritzBot ET Ver 0.70, RTCW Enemy Territory Ver. 2.60.

HIGHLIGHTS:
Civilians manipulated by the Volksempfnger's propaganda program are resisting the allied forces. To break the resistance, the Allies have to take control of an Axis repeater transmitter which is amplifying the master signal from Berlin for local receivers. They must alter the transmission frequency by installing a modification kit to the transmitter and then rotate the antenna to direct the transmission to their own repeater. The Allies begin their assault by building a bridge across a frozen river, then attack up a narrow draw in an attempt to destroy a gate that blocks the way into a castle where the transmitter is located. They must also obtain the radio parts from a hut located in the nearby snowy forest. Of course, the Axis mount a spirited defense against this. When the Allies break through, the Axis withdraw to the castle and defend the transmitter and antenna tower, fighting tooth-and-nail all the way. Installation of the radio parts will not win the game for the Allies unless the antenna is rotated in the proper direction (either before or after the transmitter is modified). When the Allies succeed in modifying the transmitter, the Axis have just ten seconds to rotate the antenna away from the Allied receiver before all is lost! Expect a close-in bloody brawl around the antenna tower at the end of the game. . .

CHANGES:
	Ver 2.50 - by the bindlestiff Sept 17, 2007
		- discovered a Fritzbot bug where a major construct kept incrementing the goal_num each time it was constructed instead of just once.
This caused the goal_num of the steal action to be improperly set and consequently it would not turn back on when the kit was returned.
Forced it work properly by adding an activateAction for the steal action in the steal test itself.
		- Discovered a Fritzbot bug where the sequence of stealing the kit, destroying the barricade, and returning the kit caused the "if_action_false" test
on the barricade to give a wrong result. Forced it to work properly by adding a deactivateAction for the barricade at the bottom of its action test.
		- Discovered a Fritzbot bug in a defuse action that caused the Axis engineers to zombie at the defuse. Removed the defuse to fix it.
		- Discovered an accumulator bug in the map script which would not hold the proper bitset at game start. Used another accumulator instead.

	Ver 2.0 - by the bindlestiff Sept 14, 2007
		= added randomly-selected opening scenarios
		- added some Axis spawns in the forest hut to guard the mod kit
		- adjusted the spawntimes of both teams
		- added clipping planes to keep the bots from falling in the river
		- removed the Axis MG42 in the castle because it had such a poor field-of-fire
		- added a fixed MG42 outside the forest hut
		- made the bridge undestructible
		- added trip-wires to alert Axis to concentrate their defense when the Allies penetrate the castle

	Ver 1.50 - by the bindlestiff Sept 1, 2007
		- added bot support for antenna levers
		- placed Axis guards in the forest to impede end-around attempts by sneaky players
		- converted the aiscript from the original RtCW style to the more flexible ET method
		- added more action options to improve the game play
		- added a number of mine plants (watch your step!)
		- expanded pathing to fill in gaps and smooth out corners
		- ran 54 games to check team balance (Allies won 25% of the time)

 	 Ver. 0.02 WIP - by TomTom July 12, 2007
		  - Cleanup pass (error messages, radii)
		  - added sample mineplant actions for demonstration
		  - SingleObj balance testing cvar support (/totalmatches, /alliedmatches)
		  - minor tweaks

Ver. 0.01	Initial playable WIP snapshot - by Craig July 9, 2007
		  - see transmitter_readme.txt

KNOWN BUGS:
	- observed Axis "no goals" spam once near game end, Could not duplicate. :/
	- rarely, a bot will get stuck on the little forest ladder in the snow or on the ladder in the Axis castle spawn. Didn't have time to fix before release.

TO DO:
	- relax
